The Year of the Femtech Showdown

A Market of Niching Down Awaits Us

One week back at work and 2023 is coming in hot!

We foresee many foundational changes to come this year—recasting the femtech industry with hope, innovation, and deep expansion worthy of its $1 trillion global market valuation for 2027. Whether it be watching conservative states like Kentucky expanding its access to abortion to increasing M&A activity in a downturn market, this will only further embed the future we are all working for: a future where healthcare, wellness, and consumer products are based upon well-researched and funded outcomes to provide personalized and democratized access for women and underserved communities.

It goes without saying that AI is the expected capability for any company going forward  and we will continue to see more women entrepreneurs entering new femtech areas, driving the industry gravitas into 2024. Depth of scientific knowledge will continue being sought to bring richness, context, and effective options by leading femtechs (e.g. State of the Pelvic Floor Report by Origin or clinical trial results of Semaine Health's Menopause supplements).

2023 is a year of promise, research, and execution with us BETTING BIG ON ALL OF YOU. To put our money where our mouth is you can expect a further expansion of venture partnership growth, enhancing our Femtech Salon event series, collaborating with new quality consumer brands in our boxes and building intimate relationships with ecosystem partners to make that future a reality across US high growth cities.

We are proud that our Top 10 Femtechs of 2023 POV is dropping at the end of the month—in collaboration with Adam Saks (Google) and Eric Malzone (Future of Fitness) as part of their wider Top 50 Startups to watch for in 2023. Follow our IG or LinkedIn for the announcement!

With conviction and solidarity,

Rachael & Aljolynn
